Vox amPlug Headphone Amplifier AC30

Introducing the amPlug – the headphone guitar amp that lets you enjoy serious guitar sound, fast. Jamming late at night? Don’t want to wake the neighbors? Maybe you want to work out a lick with your MP3 player without taking the time to set up your amp. You want to play guitar right now. amPlug is the answer. Simply plug this palm-sized headphone guitar amp directly into your guitar, and enjoy serious guitar sound anywhere, anytime.

Review This Product:
"A Vox AC30 that fits in your coat pocket."

Feature:
It comes with 2 AAA batteries that are needed for this amp. It has gain, tone and volume controls to help you milk out the sounds of a real AC30 that you long for. Plus it is small enough to fit in the compartment of a guitar case or gig bag. The only thing needed that it does not supply is the headphones. Cheap or expensive headphones will surprise you regardless of what you use, because the sound is built into the amp.

Quality:
Take this anywhere in your case, gig bag or your coat pocket and you will have a practice amp with you at all times. With a little care this product will last. This may be made of plastic on the outside, with the "Vox" grille, there is not much to break

Value:
For this price and the convience it will replace any of your mini/headphone amps because of the sound and portability

Desirability:
It has the"Vox" grille so you cannot mistake who makes this fine product. It is light and will not damage your guitar input jack

Sound:
The name AC30 is the sounds you will get with the full size amp in this small but mighty headphone amp. You can turn the gain up and the volume down to get the crunch and sustain you want without making your ears bleed. Turn your guitar volume down and the sound cleans up nicely. Play around with the gain and volume on the headphone amp itself and with the guitar. The sounds you get with a single coil and or humbucking pick up will make you practice more without assualting anyone else's ears. You will have no excuse for not practicing and you cannot blame the sound of this little amp. It leaves you with no excuse.

Ease of Use:
It is super easy to use and easy to modify the sounds your looking for in this mini headphone amp. The manual is clear because this product is fool proof.

Support:
Have not dealt with the support of the company. No need to yet.

Overall:
This is a mini-amp I can take anywhere and if something ever did happen to it, at it's price point it would be foolish to replace it with anything else. I have other mini/headphone amps and they may be permanently retired. I like the sounds this amp puts out. The only thing I dislike about this little amp, is that it was not put out before I bought other mini amps.

Vox Professional Guitar Cable

RM 100

Vox rox your sox off!
The Vox Professional guitar cable features multi-gauge conductors to give optimum performance at all sound frequencies. Vox uses the finest grade 99.99% purity, oxygen-free, copper cable conductors for superior sound. Experience maximum noise isolation through the use of two separate shields. Premium quality, abrasion resistant, high temperature PVC jacket provides maximum durability, and precision machined, gold-plated connectors with one-piece tip are used for maximum conductivity and reliability. Precision formulated polypropylene dielectric gives a better signal transfer and unique sound quality.

RM 85

Vox Premium Vintage Coil Guitar Cable
The Vox Coiled Cable provides a clean, more accurate sound, eliminating noise and interference that compromise performance. Vox uses unique audiophile grade materials and technology to give you the best possible performance.
Conventional guitar cables compromise performance through the use of lower grade conventional copper conductors. This can result in signal loss and distortion that cause lower definition, poor dynamics, and lifeless sound. Vox Coiled Cables use the finest grade OFC copper conductors that give you better clarity and a more natural sounding midrange. This material is seldom used for guitar cables, and is world renowned in audiophile circles. The unique multi-gauge design uses conductor types that are optimized for their particular frequency ranges, and this results in a fuller sound that is much more dynamic and more natural. In the past, coiled cables have suffered from poor sound quality, but the multi-gauge construction has allowed Vox to eliminate many of the undesirable qualities of typical coiled cables giving you one that is truly musical.

Product Review

Features:

Single cutaway body made from solid Mahogany Triple bound body (front and back) Mahogany set neck with an adjustable truss rod Bound Rosewood fretboard with 22 jumbo (2.7mm) frets and trapezoidal inlays Black speed knobs. Black pickup rings High quality gold humbucker pickups help reduce hum and noise and offer superior performance by giving a thicker fuller sound than single coils Two volume and two tone controls tailor your sound Angled double bound headstock for improved sustain Gold hardware (including diecast sealed tuners), tripple body binding and black pick guard compliments the guitar's beautiful vintage appearance.

Now for my impression... I have owned this guitar for about 8 months now and have had countless hours of time to pick it apart at every level. First of all the finish was excellent. No visible flaws in the paint both on the body and on the back of the neck. The binding is beautiful and compliments the black finish well. The only thing that I did change about the guitar is that I went with a set of gold speed knobs instead of the stock black ones.

The tuners are a bit of a drawback on this guitar only in that they are not as high quality as they could be. I would gladly have paid a little more for a little higher grade of tuner. Also the nut is plastic and will eventually be replaced.

Sound

I bought this guitar with the fullintention of replacing the pickups within the first week or 2. I figured that I would give the stock pickups a chance to disappoint me and also give me a reason to replace their dull lifeless carcasses. Well, they proved me wrong. The pickups are not 'hot' by any means but they are smooth just like a Les Paul pickup should be. They have a crunch when a little overdrive is added and stay smooth and creamy when just a little compression is added. They have a great clean tone with a good jazz tone.

Action, Fit and Finish

Factory setups are usually not to be trusted out of the box. I have been playing for 20 years and I have grown to understand that anything needs a setup out of the box. This guitar was no exception. I like my action to be low and easy to fret. This was a bit high right out of the box but the intonation was almost dead on. The factory strings lasted about 2 weeks and got replaced with a little heavier gauge. Like I said before a graphite nut would have been welcomed. The gold harware seems like it will hold up well.

Reliability / Durability
So far so good. The guitar feels solid enough to gig with but I would never go without a backup. That is a cardinal sin. The pots on this guitar will eventually need replacing as I figure that being that they are the small type they are probably not going to be around too long. I prefer higher quality pots in my guitars anyways. It is a cheap upgrade and it will drastically improve the sound of this guitar. The strap buttons are the oversized style that SX is known for. They are enough for knocking around but I prefer straplocks. Like I said though they are adequate and by far better then a lot of the butons out there.

SX GG1 Custom Wine Red

Features:

solid mahogany body,set neck,cheap looking gold tuners,plastic nut,rosewood fretboard,H,H pickup,two volume two tone control,

Sound:

i like to play everything from classic rock to country some shred, and now even noodling around on some jazz. this guitar is very nice for the jazz stuf it is built for the allman bros sound or g&r stuff, it is a little weak for real heavey metal. the best sound is in the clean setting very nice to pick and strum chords on.

Action, Fit, & Finish:

this guitar is beautiful the colour is such a deep red mahogany it looks awesome against the white binding, there were a few instances on the binding where the mahogany stain got onto the binding but they are very minor. the action was a little high and i had to adjust the intonation on several strings but that is natural for any guitar that is built assembly line style.the frets on my guitar were very nicley dressed a little fret buzz at first now after adjusting action and intonation it is fairly quiet.

Reliability/Durability

i have played for over 30 yrs but have never gigged professionaly, having said that i believe you could easily gig with this guitar, and be very proud of its looks and overall quality. no one plays a gig without a backup that is just stupid.

Customer Support

every time i deal with rondo kurt is prompt and courteous i like their service and shipping very much this is the 3rd instrument i have purchased through them and each one was a keeper.

Overall Rating

i own an ibanez rg 270, ibanez roadstar strat copy, olp wolfgang copy, ibanez jumbo accoustic, line 6 75 watt amp, peavey envoy 110, digitech rp 2000 effect box, overall this is exactly what i hoped for a great les paul sound without the overinflated les paul price, i have played many epi les pauls which were twice the price and they felt like complete junk, this guitar blows them away, i know its hard to believe but these guitars are the real deal.

VOX Electric Guitar Cables Accessories

Structural Diagram

Vox Cables - Class A Instrument Cables

Since 1957 VOX has been the sounds behind many of the world's most influential musicians. VOX Class A cables continue this tradition of tone. Audiophile grade material and technology give you the lowest possible signal loss, distortion and noise. With VOX Class A cables nothing comes between you and your tone.

Features

  • Multi-gauge coaxial cable geometry optimised and specially tuned for either electric guitar, electric bass or electro-acoustic guitars.
  • Pure oxygen-free copper for maximum signal transfer.
  • Polypropylene dielectric enables stronger signals and better high frequencies.
  • 24K gold-plated connectors for long life and corrosion resistance.
  • Braided cloth jackets for long life with superior flexibility.

Standard guitar/speaker cables compromise performance by using lower grade conventional copper conductors. This can result in signal loss and distortion that cause lower definition, poor dynamics and inaccurate sound. VOX Class A cables use high grade oxygen-free copper cable conductors that yield better clarity and a more natural sounding midrange. The stranded construction has been carefully selected and tuned using the optimum strand gauge and strand count to give the maximum performance for the instrument applications specific to each cable. A precision formulated, polypropylene dielectric material results in stronger signals that yield better high frequencies, and more realistic tonality and nuance.

In addition, VOX Class A cables feature 24K gold-plated connectors for maximum corrosion resistance and signal flow, and are double shielded to provide maximum isolation from electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. VOX Class A Cables are available in 13-foot and 19.5-foot lengths for electric guitar, acoustic guitar and electric bass. The cables include a cloth carry bag and are packaged in attractive retail packaging.

Guitar Cable

Vox guitar cables use the finest grade OFC copper conductors that will give you better clarity and a more natural sounding midrange. This material is seldom used for guitar cables, and is world renowned in audiophile circles. The unique multi-gauge design uses conductor types that are optimized for their particular frequency ranges, and this results in sound that is much more dynamic, fuller sounding, and more natural and life-like. Other cables sound flat and lifeless in comparison. These products are fully engineered using proprietary technology and manufacturing methods to bring you a vastly superior musical experience.

Bass Cable

Vox Bass cables provide an extended, more accurate bass, as well as freedom from noise and interference that can compromise your musical experience. These products use superior grade 99.99% purity copper conductors that will give you better clarity and a more natural sounding bass range. The large solid core bass conductors result in fuller, deeper, more extended bass response, and this is combined with thinner gauge stranded conductors that give better mid and upper bass response. The exact design was established by doing hundreds of hours of listening tests through numerous types of equipment. The precision formulated, Polyethylene dielectric material results in stronger signals that yield better definition of lower frequencies, and more natural sounding bass.

Acoustic Cable

The Vox acoustic cables use the finest grade OFC copper conductors that will give you better clarity and a more natural sounding midrange. This material is seldom used for guitar cables, and is world renowned in audiophile circles. The unique multi-gauge design uses conductor types that are optimized for their particular frequency ranges, and this results in sound that is much more dynamic, fuller sounding, and more natural and life-like. Acoustic instruments are the most difficult to reproduce, and the three-way multi-gauge design was optimized during hundreds of hours of testing, to deliver the most accurate, and musical, acoustic performance possible. These products are fully engineered using proprietary technology and manufacturing methods to give you the best possible performance out of your equipment.

Vox Cables - Vintage Coiled & Rock Guitar/Bass Cable

Vox cables utilise unique audiophile grade materials and technology to give you the best possible performance. Features include:

  • Multi-gauge conductors to give optimum performance at all sound frequencies
  • Finest grade 99.99% purity, oxygen-free, copper cable conductors for superior sound
  • Maximum noise isolation using two separate shields
  • Premium quality, abrasion resistant, high-temperature PVC jacket for maximum durability
  • Precision-machined gold-plated connectors with one-piece tip for maximum conductivity and the reliability you need
  • Precision formulated polypropylene dielectric for better signal transfer and unique sound quality

VCC Vintage Coiled Cable

The classic 'curly cable', the VCC has been part of some of the most historic moments in rock and roll history. A unique multi-gauge design uses individual conductor types that are optimised for their particular frequency ranges, resulting in a reliable coiled cable that is truly musical. The cable is nine metres long (29.5 feet) and comes in black, blue, red, silver or white.

VGS VOX Rock Guitar/Bass Cable

These specially selected, tuned stranded conductors give optimum performance and a classic rock sound. Available in two lengths: three metres (9.8 feet) and five metres (16.4 feet).

Coustomer Review This Product

"Marshall's Best (So Far)"

Feature:

I'd like to see an affordable amp in the Marshall line that has features like Line 6 amps, such as Metal, Insane, and Solo effects that are built in. Other than that, this amp has great features and it doesn't have a bazillion knobs to mess with.

Quality:

We've taken this to every gig we've played at and it's been attacked by our guitarist (he broke his First Act on the bottom cabinet) and it's fallen off stage and it kept playing.

Value:

No doubt this is the best Marshall amp for the cash. This is the amp that every guitarist should long for.

Desirability:

Looks good. Very good

Sound:

I've had this amp for about 4 years since I got rid of my Wal-Mart amp and guitar and I now have an Ibanez GRG170DX guitar with it and this amp sounds great. Especially considering the fact that I ogt it for free in a guitar contest. Sweet amp!

Ease of Use:

Very easy to figure out. Catches buzz from cheap guitar pickups. (My friend's First Act buzzes real bad.)

Support:

Haven't had to mess with them. The best service is not having to use it.

Overall:

Buy it. You won't be disappointed with this amp. It's a beast for only 15 watts.

Product Review

"Such a Great Sound for so little in Price Beutiful Look and Big Sustain"

Feature:

Obviously at the outrageously low price point, there is things that they compromised on in order to give it the ultra accessible price. But, you get some small tools to keep her all tight. And your basic throw away cable. But you also get the fantastic Steinberger tuning heads that are easy to use, and keep this tonal monster consistantly in tune. I think that the Steinbergers look way cooler and fit the case better than the tuning heads on the Gibson "real" variation. I think that you would be hard pressed to find a better guitar for the price. And many of the professional guitar mag reviews that led me to my purchase agree. (Most give this guitar 4.5 to 5 out 5 stars)

Quality:

For this guitar being made in Korea, you wouldn't be able to tell of any inconsistancies. I looked and looked for any problems with the neck, frets, the neck joint, headstock, and hardware set up. It's all flawless! The Mahogany body and rosewood fret board are beautiful! The sustain is fantastic. The set up out of the box is really good! No fret buzz anywhere, and the action is nuetral. Just like I like it. Pretty perfect! Although I'm sure that you can find better on a guitar that is five times the price or more.

Value:

I challenge anyone to find a better guitar for the price. And I don't care that you are a metalhead, if you're a guitar player, you should know a great guitar, and can appreciate it's sound no matter what the look or specialty is whether you play only powerchords or jazz arppegios we can appreciate a great guitar guys.

Desirability:

She is aesthetically pleasing! Even beautiful! The finish is gorgeous, and ultra smooth to the touch. And the headstock with it's unique steinbergers looks elitist and modernises a true classic. This Firebird is stunning and makes the Gibson model look pretty standard. But I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some will disagree with me.

Sound:

Three distictively different tonal qualities from the three different pick up selections. The bridge humbucker has a bit more of a muddier crunch when pushed through more gain, but retains a cool bluesy tone when the gain is cleaned up. ( I've been playing it through an Orange Tiny Terror, and Orange 2x12 cab.) The neck humbucker is a-lot more bright and warm, obviously adjustable from the tone control. The central pick-up/ combination setting is where I find that the depth and tonal potential is at it's greatest. Turn the gain up here, and shred through your pentatonics to satisfy your aggressive cravings. Or turn down the Tone pots to half way and clean up the gain to find some sweet cool, darker blues tones. I mainly play Indie rock, and tonally it covers my sound perfectly. I also play a Gibson Les Paul Voodoo, and a Schecter Ultracure. Each has a very distinctive tonal quality, but each is beautiful in it's own right. I'd say the Epi Firebird is by far the best bang for the buck.

Ease of Use:

It's pretty fool proof, it's set up is done in America, and actually seems better than my Les Paul that was born and set up in Nashville. Plus the Steinberger heads are insanely easy and fully functional. The alnico 57' replica pick ups sound like a much more expensive magnet. I still can't get over how good this sounds at this insanely low price.

Support:

No need for support as of yet. But what company truly gives you great support? You're always responsible for anything wrong with the guitar once you own it. And I've owned many.

Overall:

Read above. But This is the right choice for many guitarists who want flexibility, tonal insanity, and overall great build and value. Plus it looks really cool, and breaks away from the typical Les Paul, SG, Strat, Tele look that so many of us only know as quality.

Roland Cube 30X - Control Panel Guitar Amplifier (1 x 10 in speaker)
Price : RM 1050

Product Review

Feature:

This amp needs additional adjustment controls on the effects. Right now there are just two effects knobs with several settings on each, which does make for quickness and simplicity though at the price of customizability of the effect. All other features are great.

Quality:

Oh yeah, this amp oozes quality. Totally solid, yet light-weight for its size and wattage. The pots are active not passive, so I won't be expecting any crackling ever.

Value:

First of all, this thing is compact for a 30 Watt, and very loud too. Need earplugs for anything above half volume. So that with the good distortion makes for a great value. Like others said, best in its price range. Only thing that might come close is the similar Vox, but the Vox is quite a bit wider than the Cube and for me compactness was important.

Desirability:

It will attract metal-babes. If you want the older gentler ladies, get a vintage Fender amp and wear dockers when you play.

Sound:

Sound is extremely good after some EQ adjustment to remove boominess on the bass. My favorite settings are "acoustic" and "r-fier." Acoustic is brighter, more compressed, and less twangy then the clean channel, makes for a great clean sound. R-fier is Pantera/Metallica style distortion ... smoothly heavy and articulate, does not sound muffled or tinny but rather beefy and well-distorted, allows easy and clear pinch harmonics and crunchy palm muting.

Ease of Use:

Gotta give it to Roland, this amp is extremely easy to use. Only thing I looked up in the manual was how to use the chromatic version of the tuner. Involved holding the tuner button down for a full second, that's all. Everything else is intuitive.

Support:

Haven't used it, but everything I've heard/read says Roland provides good support.

Overall:

This is the amp I was looking for. Wanted something that was loud, compact, good value, good quality, with distortion that brings a smile to my face. It did all these. Played a Schecter Damien-6 through it, and sounds awesome. It's the best amp I could have gotten for the money. Almost went with the 20X but changed my mind after realizing only the 30X had the r-fier (mesa/boogie emulator) and I absolutely needed massive gain.

Product Review

"Everything you could ask for in a guitar... especially the price"

Feature:

When I got this guitar, everything was perfectly set up. I was able to plug it right in and play, and I was really happy with that. The action was set to perfection. One thing I did notice though, is that the screws in the bridge tend to rattle when you're playing. Mine was especially true for the B and high-E strings. But you really can't hear that through the amp so it's easy to work past. All I can say is I wish this had a whammy bar, but that's just personal preference.

Quality:

This guitar is extrememly reliable and besides the aformentioned looseness of those bridge screws, you can totally depend on it to keep going and going through the years.

Value:

You simply can't beat this price. I actually got mine cheaper than its price now. It's truly a price that can't be beat for this quality.

Desirability:

Everything about this guitar's appearance is beautiful. It really makes me feel confident when I'm playing in front of people, because I look down at this incredible piece of equipment I have in my hands, and think to myself, "Yeah, that's right, that's MY guitar."

Sound:

No matter where I plug this guitar in it sounds amazing. The clean tones are crisp and well-defined, and when you throw distortion into the mix, it's raw and crunchy. I play a lot of hard rock and metal (mostly Metallica), and this guitar really helps me achieve the kind of sound i'm looking for. I really couldn't ask for a better sounding guitar. And at the price, it's just incredible.

Ease of Use:

This guitar is so easy to use. Every time I pick it up I'm able to create new and exciting sequences. The harmonics are incredible, and actually quite easy to achieve. You can really do some cool stuff with this guitar.

Support:

Well, I've never needed support, but knowing Epiphone, it's probably good.

Overall:

I'm already in the search for a new guitar, but this one will always be held dear to me. I'll never get rid of this guitar, even if everything gets rundown and broken...which isn't likely.

  • Machine heads: Kluson-style
  • Color: Brownburst

History:

Purchase:

I an fifty now and when I look back there is only one type guitar that made a great impression on me. A Les Paul. I didn't have the money to buy a expensive Gibson. So when I was at the musicstore there she was standing a beatiful Stagg Les Paul colour sunburst. The price, 120 dollar. For such a beauty I want to give it a change.

What I Like About This Unit:

The paint looks nice and is very good. Also at the back of the guitar. The sound is straight and almost like a orginal Les Paul. I have the guitar now 3 monthts. I only had to tune it once.

What I Do NOT Like About The Stagg L320CS Les Paul:

There is only one thing that I don't like. The bass control on the guitar. You will expect it glides nicely, but it shocks to much.

L320CS Les Paul Quality:

The quality is more than you may expect for that price. It is made of wood. Good painting. It glitters when there is some light. The sound of the guitar is stable. Even when there are temperature fluctuations. Not for a few days, but for weeks without tuning.

Summary:

have the guitar now for four months. I am very pleased with it. It's good quality for that price. At the top of the neck there is a great label with Stagg on it. Stagg shows at this way that it stands for quality. And they are.....................

Date: 2002-12-27

History:

Purchase:

I really wanted a Les Paul type guitar and could not afford a mid to higher end model at that time. I searched lots of music stores online and also checked E Bay. In the end I bought my L320cs off of a supplier on E Bay for £99 plus £10 p&p. Now you can get the same guitar from the same supplier for £89 plus £10 p&p.

What I Like About This Unit:

I like this guitar because it is solidly built, has the exact look I was looking for and is extremely good value for the money I paid for it.

What I Do NOT Like About The Stagg L320 CS:

The G string continually comes out of tune, which is really annoying. The pick up switch doesn't glide easily between settings and the covers on the back weren't cut exactly to size which means there are little gaps around the perimetre's of the covers.

L320 CS Quality:

Again, it is solidly built for the price, but some of the parts don't fit snuggly, especially the back covers, in which the gaps arounds parts of it are quite noticable. The colour is beautiful, although when sunlight shines on it, it can look quite plasticy!

Summary:

For the price, it is an excellent guitar. If your going to pay only a £100 for a mass produced, cheap guitar, you can't expect %100 perfect quality. If you are looking for a cheap Les Paul, first guitar, cheap practice guitar or even if it's all you can afford at the moment, then I can HIGHLY recommend this model. I have rated this guitar according to the basis of comparing guitars in the low end price range, which is why i gave it 4 out of 5, if I was comparing this guitar to ALL guitars then obviously compared to a Gibson it would be a 1 out of 5!

Roland Amps 60

Roland Cube 60 Guitar Combo Amplifier (60 Watts, 1x12 in.)

Roland's Cube-60 takes the acclaimed Cube amplifier line to new levels and larger venues. It packs a punchy 60 watts of power into a compact 12- in. design, giving you the performance of a bigger amp, without the excess baggage. It features enriched COSM amp models, popular digital effects, versatile outputs and well-respected reliability. Just like its popular siblings, Cube-60 stretches the limits of where you can go with your music, both in terms of tone and venues.

Features

  • Powerful 60-watt output in a compact, 12 in. speaker design.
  • Built-in 9 COSM guitar amp models, including JC, British Combo and R-Fire.
  • New Dyna Amp feature offers expressive control over enhanced dynamics and tone transitions based on picking style.
  • Six classic built-in Roland effects, including Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Tremolo and independent Delay/Reverb.
  • Multiple outputs, including Recording/Phones Out, Line Out, Tuner Out and Ext Speaker Out (for connecting external cabinets).
  • Channel switching, delay/reverb and effect on/off control via optional footswitch.

Bigger, and Better

The Cube-60 has more power, punch and performance features than the competition, with a newly developed custom speaker and specially tuned power amplifier. Its compact and lightweight design makes it easy to transport from rehearsal to gig, while its powerful 60-watt output and built in COSM(R) effects and amp models ensures your performance won't go unnoticed, or unheard!

A Roomful of AmpsAll in One

The Cube-60 comes with nine onboard COSM Amp models, including JC, British Combo and R-Fier. COSM modeling faithfully provides every inspired nuance and characteristic of a variety of classic and modern amps, down to the preamp and circuits, speaker and outputs. Roland's new "Dyna Amp" amp type lets you create unique tone transitions based on picking dynamics. You can get a transparent clean output sound by picking softly, or a powerful hi-gain amp sound by picking more aggressively. Dyna Amp's distortion can create cool tonal transitions based on the intensity of your performance.

Tweak Your Tone

There's plenty of room to tweak your tone, with versatile onboard effects and EQ and a newly equipped Bright switch and Presence knob. Six of Roland's world-class effects are built in, including Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Tremolo and an independent Delay/Reverb processor. Additionally, there are footswitch inputs for switching channels and turning delay/reverb and effects On/Off.

Versatile Outputs Fit Any Playing Environment

In addition to the Control feature, the Cube-60 is equipped with a wide range of output options for recording or live performance. There are separate output jacks for Recording/Phones Out, Line Out and Ext Speaker Out. Additionally, the Tuner Out jack makes it easy to connect an outboard tuner such as Roland's TU-Series.

Product Review

"Don't skimp with the 30- get the cube 60!"

Feature:

It would be nice if each effect had a different knob, but that would be mostly unnecessary. And a foot switch would be useful

Quality:

Wow...Mine's been through a lot. I mean, I use it for BASS, and it's a guitar amp. any normal guitar amp would die in weeks from that, but this has lasted for almost a year of bass. The only thing that's ever happened was the plastic ring around theinput jack cracked when I was using it for vocals and our singer yanked the cord to hard. but you can just use one from an ext. speaker spot.

Value:

there are better amps out there, but they're all way outside this price range

Desirability:

It doesn't look like much...Except for the steel grate.

Sound:

This thing sounds awesome, I got it a few years back for my birthday, and hasn't failed me yet. I've used it for guitar, bass, vocals, acoustic guitars, amplifying cds and mp3s, and it's never blown out, or made that annoying cracking noise. The clean channel with the bright switch is pretty cool, but I really only use the superawesome distortion this thing has. Just switch it to "metal", crank up the gain, and you'll be ready to bust out some seriously chunky riffs, or some melodic lead goodness

Ease of Use:

Really easy to use

Support:

never had to deal with'em, and that's the best kind

Overall:

Good sound, amazingly dependable. If mine broke I'd probably see if roland sells the head by itself.
